Reporting a code that will not scan
This is the most useful bug report we get, and the easiest to act on if you include a few details:
- Which type you used: URL, text, WiFi, email or phone.
- The size, the colours and the error correction level you picked.
- Whether a logo was in the middle.
- The phone and the scanning app that failed, and whether another phone worked.
- Whether it failed on screen or only once printed, and at what size.
Please do not send us a live WiFi password to reproduce a problem. A test network name and a fake password with the same length and characters tells us the same thing.
Requests
vCard contact codes, SMS and batch generation are the most requested additions so far. Tell us what you would actually use and it moves up the list.
Privacy questions
Most of them are answered on the privacy page. The short version: what you type into the generator never reaches us, so there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete.
