Who is responsible
FreeQRFast is run by Marvin Smit in the Netherlands. For questions about this policy, or about any data you think we hold, write to hello@freeqrfast.com.
What you type into the generator
Nothing you enter is sent to us. The QR code is encoded and drawn by JavaScript running in your own browser, on your own device. That covers every field: the web address, your text, the WiFi network name and password, the email address and message, and the phone number.
The same is true of a logo you upload. The file is read locally and drawn onto the code in your browser. It is never uploaded to a server.
None of it is kept after you leave. There is no account, no history and no saved list of codes. Close the tab and it is gone.
Cookies
We set no cookies, and nothing is written to local storage. That is why you never saw a cookie banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics
We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts and no third-party embeds. Nothing on this page profiles you or follows you to another site.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, their infrastructure processes the technical details of a request — your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser’s user-agent string — in order to deliver the page and to defend against abuse. That is Vercel acting as our processor, and it never includes what you typed into the generator, because that is never part of a request. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
Fonts
The Inter typeface is served from this domain, not from a font CDN, so loading the page does not tell a third party that you visited.
Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. In practice there is almost nothing to exercise those rights against here: we hold no account data and no generator content. If you believe we hold something about you, email us and we will look. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add something that does process your data — privacy-friendly analytics, for example, or a feature that tracks scans — this page is updated before it goes live, and the change is described here rather than buried. See the terms for the rules on using the tool itself.
