Using the site
FreeQRFast is provided by Marvin Smit free of charge, with no account and no contract. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
The codes you make are yours
We claim no ownership over anything you generate. Use your QR codes commercially, print them, put them on products and packaging, sell what they point at. No attribution is required, no licence is granted or needed, and there is no watermark to remove.
What you may not do
- Encode anything unlawful, or a link to it.
- Use a code to mislead people about where it leads, or to impersonate someone else.
- Place a QR code over someone else’s code — on a parking meter, a menu or an invoice — to divert payments. This is a common fraud and it is a crime.
- Use a logo or trademark in a code without the right to use it.
- Attack, overload or attempt to break the site.
Test before you print
The generator warns you about low contrast, inverted colours and logo coverage, but a warning is not a guarantee and its absence is not one either. Whether a code scans depends on your printer, the material, the size, the lighting and the phone. Always test the finished code on a real device, at the size and distance it will be used. You are responsible for that check.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, error-free, or that a generated code will scan on every device. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or the codes you make with it — including reprint costs, lost sales or a campaign that did not work. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Availability
This is a free tool with no uptime commitment, and it may change or disappear without notice. Because every code is static, codes you already downloaded keep working regardless of what happens to this site.
Governing law
Dutch law applies, and the Dutch courts have jurisdiction, so far as the law permits.
