Customer support
Let customers open a support email from packaging, documentation or a help desk sign with a useful subject already added.
Open a ready-to-write email
Make a QR code that opens the scanner’s email app with your address and optional subject and message already filled in. No account or redirect required.
What the code stores
Static QRExample email payload
mailto:hello@example.com?subject=Quote%20requestThe pattern contains this payload directly. There is no FreeQRFast redirect or account attached to it.
The essentials
An email QR code contains a mailto link. Scanning it asks the device to open an installed email app with the recipient address filled in. You can also include a suggested subject and message so the sender has less to type.
The scan does not send an email automatically. The person can review, change or abandon the draft before sending it. A mail app must be available and configured on the device, and the final delivery still depends on the sender’s email provider.
Three simple steps
The generator gives you a live preview and creates both download formats on your device.
Choose Email in the generator and add the address that should receive the message. Check it carefully for spelling errors.
Optionally supply a short subject and a starting message. Leave room for the person scanning to add their own details.
Scan the preview, confirm the correct mail app and fields open, then save a PNG or print-ready SVG.
Practical ideas
Let customers open a support email from packaging, documentation or a help desk sign with a useful subject already added.
Start a structured enquiry from a brochure, vehicle or event stand without asking someone to copy an email address.
Invite visitors to send comments from a receipt, table card or venue sign while the experience is still fresh.
Add a scan-to-email action to a poster or business card when one clear contact channel is more useful than a full vCard.
Before you publish
A typo is permanently encoded in a static code. Send a test email to the address, then scan the finished QR code and check it again.
A long subject or body creates a denser pattern and can feel intrusive. Prefill only what helps, and let the sender complete the message.
The code only opens a draft. It cannot confirm delivery, capture consent or submit data without the person choosing Send in their email app.
If you need required fields, file uploads or consistent answers, create a web form and use a URL QR code instead.
Privacy and permanence
The address, subject and message entered in the generator are converted to a mailto payload in your browser. FreeQRFast does not receive or store those fields.
The finished QR image contains the supplied email details in a decodable form, so only prefill information you are comfortable publishing. The person scanning can inspect and edit the draft before deciding whether to send it.
FreeQRFast does not send the email, record a scan or know whether a message was delivered. The static code continues to open the same draft unless the receiving address or the device’s email configuration stops working.

The device is asked to open its configured email app with the recipient and any optional subject or message filled in. The person still reviews the draft and chooses whether to send it.
No. It opens a draft; it cannot press Send, verify delivery or act without the scanner’s confirmation. This prevents a scan from silently sending email on someone’s behalf.
Yes. The generator accepts an optional subject and message in addition to the recipient address. Keep them concise so the code stays easy to scan and the sender can personalize the draft.
It uses the standard mailto format, which is widely supported, but the device needs a configured email app. Exact handling of subjects, line breaks and special characters can differ between apps, so test the final code.
No. The recipient is part of the static pattern. If the address changes, generate and distribute a new code, or use a URL you control that leads to an up-to-date contact page.
No. The mailto payload and QR image are created in your browser. The recipient, subject and message entered in the generator are not uploaded to our server.
